    Presten atención a las “hermosas” detonaciones de escopetas, las mismas que el chavismo usa desde hace años para volarle pedazos a la gente, habiéndose limpiado el orto con los acuerdos internacionales desde hace rato.

    Lamentable que le estén dando armas y uniforme a cualquier choro para que salga a matar gente, la cuarta se quedó en pañales comparada con el chavismo.

    También leí hace poco que al parecer el “imparcial” joge, el discípulo del matón Chirinos, salió a decir que al muchacho lo habían asesinado gente de oposición, claro, porque gente desarmada echa tiros, es que estos carajos por más que sean cínicos todos los días todavía logran hacer que se le retuerza a uno el estómago de las náuseas.

It’s a year later and the changes have been momentous: arrests of opposition leaders and followers, a crash in the price of oil, changes within the MUD, outpouring of international support for the opposition, erosion of support at home for the government. Yet, strangely enough, it feels like nothing much has changed. Why? You have a recalcitrant leadership that thinks it has a godgiven responsibility to stay in power, headed by an ignoramous not afraid to listen to birds and abuse his position while running the country into the ground. And despite the low level of popular support, large segments of the population seem unwilling to support the opposition. At the street level we don’t know where to go from here and it looks like it’s all up to chance.

    I sincerely hope for dialogue and a brokered solution. But what does it take to convince the leadership that it’s time to move on? We are dealing with power addicts who will not acknowledge their problem. Who is going to nudge up to Maduro and whisper “chamo, se acabo la vaina, hora de empacar las maletas…”.

    I think somewhere between the AA 12 step program and Kübler-Ross model lies a solution…

    Kübler-Ross model
    Denial
    People feel that they do not have a problem concerning alcohol or substances. Even if they do feel as if they might have a small problem they believe that they have complete control over the situation and can stop drinking or doing drugs whenever they want. Example: “I don’t have to drink all of the time. I can stop whenever I want.”
    Anger
    The anger stage of abusers relates to how they get upset because they have an addiction or are angry that they can no longer use drugs. Some of these examples include “I don’t want to have this addiction anymore.” “This isn’t fair, I’m too young to have this problem.”
    Bargaining
    This is the stage that drug and alcohol abusers go through when they are trying to convince themselves or someone else that they are going to stop abusing in order to get something out of it or get themselves out of trouble. Example: “God, I promise I’ll never use again if you just get me out of trouble.”
    Depression
    Sadness and hopelessness are important parts of the depression stage when dealing with a drug abuser. Most abusers experience this when they are going through the withdrawal stage quitting their addiction. It is important to communicate these feelings as a process of the healing.
    Acceptance
    With substance abusers, admitting the existence of a problem is different from accepting the problem. When a substance abuser admits that he/she has a problem, this is more likely to occur in the bargaining stage. Accepting that he/she has a problem is when you realise that you have a problem and start the process to resolve the issue.

    The 12 steps
    1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.
    2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
    3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
    4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
    5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
    6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
    7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
    8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
    9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
    10. Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
    11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
    12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

      • Perhaps the AA analogy is a stretch, but my point is that somebody has to convince Maduro that he’s not the guy who’s going to solve this crisis.

        Not to say that the dialogue is sane. Like most things chavistas say, this excerpt is incredible:

        ¿Qué hace falta? Dos cosas, uno, llevar el mensaje de que este gobiernucho es de chávez para abajo los culpables de cada puto peo que hay en Venezuela, y si el peo estaba de antes, nada, igual se les echa mierda porque es su obligación resolver el peo, por eso es que están ahí, hay que martillarle eso día y noche a la gente para que sepan a quien culpar por todo esto, y que este peo para resolverlo hay que CAMBIAR A LOS QUE ESTÁN AJURO Y POR LO ANTES EXPUESTO; Y segundo, y esa la hará el mismo cartel chaburro por nosotros, es llevar al país a una hambruna brutal donde por meses no se consiga NI UN PLATO DE CARTÓN para comer en un anaquel, y rematarla con un glaseado de “cuando me dé la puta gana te mato porque eres inferior a mí que soy malandro”

        Hoy estuvieron dos clientes a donde yo trabajo, y uno de ellos se quejaba de que había cola para comrprar un producto, el otro le dijo “Es que la Polar es la que se beneficia de esa vaina porque así la gente les compra la harina”, yo le pregunté “¿Y a dónde están las 27 fábricas de las como 50 marcas de otras harinas que el gobierno confiscó hace años?”, el muy tarado me quiso replicar con una ridiculez ahí de que “es que la Polar está trabajando porque se comprometió con el gobierno y firmó un acuerdo y…” y lo interrumpí preguntándole de nuevo “Ajá, sí, muy bonito, ¿Pero dónde están TODAS LAS DEMÁS MARCAS QUE SÓLO EL GOBIERNO PUEDE PRODUCIR PORQUE SE COGIÓ LAS FÁBRICAS?”, el muy huevón se quedó como si le hubiera metido un tirro en la jeta.

        No hace falta decir una sola mentira ni inventar absolutamente nada para contrarrestar el lavado de cerebro chaburro, la lógica y la verdad disuelven ese mierdero más rápido de lo que la sal se disuelve en el agua.

          Que la familia se prestare para faltar el respeto del muchacho volviéndolo en propaganda partidista solo habla de la calidad de ciertos sectores de la oposición. Yo como miembro de la Oposición Democrática no recurro a especulaciones ni necesito de los mismos para hacer valer mi partido.

          Los saboteadores encubiertos siempre llaman a la mentira para quitarnos la elegancia que forjamos con nuestra Preparación Académica.
